Steve Fosler

Principal | Architect

As our principal architect and founder, Steve got his license to practice in 1982. His original Bachelors of Science was in Physics from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1971. After spending two years in Ghana as a Peace Corps volunteer, he decided to go into architecture at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver BC. Between 1975 and 1979, Steve worked at Stradling & Steward Architects in Bellingham as an intern and upon relocating to Portland he spent three years as an intern from 1979-1982 with Evenson/Ludgren/Larson/Monaghan Architects.

Andy Borgerding

Senior Associate | Lead Designer

Andy has been with us as our Head Project Manager and Designer in the firm since 2009. As a Portland State University graduate for both Undergraduate and Masters degrees, he knows Portland architecture like the back of his hand. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, mountaineering, and snowboarding.

Angelo Bologna

Revit Drafter | Drawing Production Assistant

Angelo graduated from Portland State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree along with a minor in Sustainability. Prior to working at Fosler Architecture, Angelo has a year of work experience using Revit while working as a freelance Architectural Drafter/Designer. He is a self-motivated hard worker with excellent graphical and verbal communication skills that allow him to communicate and collaborate ideas with team members. Over the past four years he has learned how to create quick hand sketches, construction drawings and 3-D model buildings using Revit.
