Concept for Winter Festival Structure
Silver Award, Portland Design Festival 2004 Proposed Tensile Fabric Canopy providing partial shelter and dramatic light show opportunities for installation in Portland's central downtown Pioneer Courthouse Square. Intended to provide a colorful focus for activities in downtown, the translucent fabric held aloft by a 110' demountable mast and three bronze cast anchor features would brighten winter days and nights in the center of the city. |
